Dünya medyasının Türkiye’deki olayları yoğun biçimde kamuoyuna aktardığına dikkat çeken Germanyfans Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Hüseyin Baraner, “Rakip ülkeler maalesef son süreci aleyhimize kullanıyor. Özellikle Alman pazarında bu böyle. Şimdi rakiplere bakıyorsunuz, ‘Türkiye’ye gitmeyin’ çağrıları yapıyor. Türk turizmci tedirgin” diye konuştu.
Germanyfans Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Hüseyin Baraner, Türkiye’de son günlerde yaşanan terör olaylarının turizm sektörüne yönelik yansımalarını değerlendirdi, tartışma yaratacak açıklamalar yaptı. Mevcut süreçte turistlerden çok turizmcilerin tedirgin olduğunu dile getiren Baraner, süreçle ilgili sektör temsilcilerinin bilgilendirilmesi konusunda ciddi eksiklikler olduğunu söyledi.
YATIRIMLAR TEHLİKEDE
Terör olayları sonrasında kriz toplantıları gerçekleştirdiklerini belirten Baraner, “Ne olduğunu bizde anlamadık. Eskiden krizin kaynağını bilir ona göre çalışma gerçekleştirirdik. Ancak şu an hiçbir yetkili kurumdan bilgi akışı sağlayamıyoruz. Biz bu işe yatırım yaptık. Güney Doğu ve Doğu Anadolu’da projeler geliştirmeye başladık. Bölgeye yönelik onlarca otel projemiz var. Şimdi ne olacak merak ediyoruz” dedi.

Avrupalı Türk turizmcilerin Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı yetkilileri ile irtibat sağlayamadığı belirten Baraner, şöyle dedi: “Barış süreci devam ederken her türlü bilgiyi alıyorduk. Şimdi neden bu bilgi akışı kesildi? Milyonlarca insanın ekmeğini yediği bir sektör bilgilendirilmiyor. 100 don, 100 çivi satan adamların işi önemseniyor da bizim gibi milyonlarca insana ekmek kazandıran bir sektör neden ciddiye alınmıyor?”(Salim Uzun/Hürriyet)
